Every person has their own story, personality and energy, and I believe the best photographs come from allowing those qualities to shine naturally.
With my background in design and visual communication, I've spent more than 25 years working across the creative industry, developing a strong appreciation for visual storytelling and thoughtful composition. That perspective naturally carries through to my photography, where every image is created with equal attention to aesthetics, atmosphere and purpose—capturing not only how a subject looks, but also the character, mood and story behind it.
My passion lies in portrait, fashion and editorial photography. I enjoy creating images that feel authentic, relaxed and timeless rather than overly posed. I prefer working with natural light whenever possible and using real locations that add atmosphere and character. For me, photography isn't about creating a perfect scene—it's about capturing genuine moments that people can connect with.
Alongside portrait and fashion photography, I also work across commercial, corporate, architecture, interior, product and event photography. Whether photographing people, spaces or live events, I approach every project with the same attention to detail and a focus on creating clean, modern imagery with lasting impact.
I believe the strongest photographs are often the most natural ones. A relaxed conversation, genuine expression or unplanned moment can say far more than a carefully directed pose. Creating an environment where people feel comfortable is an important part of my process, and it's often where the most memorable images are made.
Based in Europe and available for assignments internationally, I work with businesses, agencies, publications and private clients who value authentic, high-quality photography with a contemporary editorial style.
If my work reflects the style you're looking for, I welcome the opportunity to discuss your next project.
People often ask about the name KNKO and the story behind the logo. The inspiration comes from the Japanese word "Neko" (猫), meaning cat. As both a lifelong cat lover and a graphic designer with a background in branding and advertising, I wanted to create a distinctive identity matching my style rather than simply using my own name.
The circular "O" in the logo, featuring two ears facing in opposite directions, is a subtle reference to a listening cat. It became more than just a logo—it became a visual identity that reflects both my passion for design and my approach to photography: clean, memorable and built around the idea that the smallest details often tell the biggest stories.
